What Can I Bring In?

All materials are welcome at PrecisionMark Custom Engraving, however, we recommend you bring in a sample to ensure the results are as you wish them to be. Leather, wood, glass, acrylic and coated metal items are sure to look amazing! If you are not sure whether your material can be engraved, call our specialists to discuss its suitability. We engrave:

Flat wood, leather, acrylic, coated metal (e.g. anodized aluminum) or glass

Glasses with smooth, relatively cylindrical surfaces

Objects that are smaller than 24"x12"x6", shorter than 9" with nothing sticking up more than 1/2", relatively flat and not made of uncoated metal

All engraving must sit 0.25 inches from any edge or other element. The surface must be relatively flat with nothing sticking up over 0.25 inches from the surface.

How Will The Engraving Look Like?

We cannot precisely predict how the engraving will turn out on items that are not provided by us. Thus, we cannot guarantee any specific result on materials that you bring in and we recommend you bring in a sample of the material you wish to engrave to get a better idea of how the final result may look like. Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds for the engraving service or replace the items you brought in in the off case the results is not satisfactory.

Can I Bring My Own Artwork?

Bring in your artwork on a USB drive to our shop or e-mail us the files before coming in. The artwork must be in .ai, .eps or .cdr vectory artwork format in black and white for the purpose of engraving. We can vectorize high quality, high contrast images (.jpeg, .png) in store but this may result in a loss of detail, thus we do not recommend engraving photographs, especially of people or pets.

Please note: we do not engrave copyright protected images or artwork without the permission of the creator. We do require you to affirm that you have the right to use any of the images you supply to us to reproduce.

What Is Your Turnaround Time?

For appropriately sized project, the turnaround time can be as swift as the same day. However, the more complex and specific your project is, the more time it might take. We recommend you give us a call beforehand to check our current turnaround timing.
